Children learn best with tangible experiences and are now beginning to control their mind and body. The integrated program is introduced sequentially and at the developmental level of each individual child, allowing every child to work to capacity and at their ability level. Our program is “child directed”, encouraging children to make responsible choices, experience natural consequences and peruse interests within the safety of the classroom. Children learn grace and courtesy as well as respect for themselves, their environment and their peers.
Our primary classroom has a broad age range to support peer learning and teaching, allowing children to become leaders and creating a strong sense of community. Children gain a sense of compassion and confidence when working with peers at varying developmental levels.
